Construction of a LUG factory in Argentina on completion

On Monday, 2 October 2017, representatives of LUG S.A. Capital Group visited the Parque Industrial  S.A.P.E.M. where the construction of the LUG Argentina factory, a member of the LUG S.A. Capital Group, is heading towards the end.

The meeting was attended by the Governor of the Province of Misiones, Hugo Passalacqua and Minister of Provincial Industry, Luis Lichowski. LUG S.A. was represented by Ryszard Wtorkowski, the President of the Management Board and Mariusz Ejsmont, the V-ce President of the Managemnt Board. LUG Argentina represented the President, Rogelio Bertone and its General Director, Jorge Chamorro Escalona.

  - The investment in Argentina is a next stage in our expansion in Latin America. At the beginning of September, for the projects implemented in the Argentinian Province of Misiones, we supplied two thousand pieces of lighting fixtures made in our factory in Zielona Góra. Further deliveries in the region will be made by a factory in Argentina, which will reach full capacity in the first quarter of next year. The presence of LUG in Argentina and other markets in the region will continue to grow - said the President of LUG S.A., Ryszard Wtorkowski.

A new facility with an area of nearly 1600 sq. meters will employ several dozen people. The factory will produce state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures, especially designed to illuminate urban areas such as streets, parks, parking lots and public buildings.  

- LUG Argentina, which is part of LUG S.A. Capital Group will not only produce and install lighting fixtures. As a part of our operations in Argentina, we will also provide advisory services on modern lighting solutions and engage in energy efficiency projects across the Republic of Argentina - adds Ryszard Wtorkowski.
