LUG Earns Platinum Medal in EcoVadis Sustainability Rating!

Following the sustainability management assessment concluded in January, LUG Light Factory proudly received the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal — the highest distinction awarded to only 1% of companies assessed by this global platform.
In 2024, we once again subjected our operations to rigorous evaluation in line with EcoVadis methodology. This comprehensive assessment covers 21 sustainability criteria across four key categories: Environment, Human and Labor Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

In 2024, we made significant advancements, improving our rating by two levels and earning the Platinum Medal. LUG achieved an impressive score of 82 points, a remarkable improvement of 20 points compared to the previous year. This milestone reflects the company's ongoing commitment to sustainability. Participation in the EcoVadis assessment also provides valuable insights into areas that require further development.
The EcoVadis evaluation is based on internationally recognized sustainability standards, including the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization (ILO) guidelines, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework, and ISO 26000.
Over 130,000 companies worldwide are subject to EcoVadis assessment, underscoring the platform's global reach and influence.
