The Best Annual Report 2012 on the NewConnect market

The LUG S.A. Capital Group achieved historical success in the first edition of “The Best Annual Report 2012” competition addressed to companies from the NewConnect market. In addition to The Best Annual Report 2012 award the company also received a honourable mention for the best report on the company’s operations. On Friday, 18 October 2013, “The Best Annual Report 2012” competition, organised by the Accounting and Tax Institute under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of the Treasury, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, the Polish Association of Listed Companies and the Citizen Shareholding programme, officially ended. During the final gala held in the Trading Room at the Warsaw Stock Exchange the awards for the best annual report of enterprises and financial institutions and banks were presented. Honourable mentions were also given for the best financial statements, report on the company’s operations and an online annual report. The jury also announced winners in “the best of the best” category. |

| This year’s edition of the competition was one of a kind since for the first time in history the jury also evaluated reports of companies from the NewConnect. Members of the jury, working in two teams, under the leadership of Ms Ewa Jakubczyk-Cały reviewed reports on the company’s operation and financial statements of Issuers from the NewConnect. |
The main award for The Best Annual Report 2012 in the category of companies from the NewConnect market was given to LUG S.A. The Issuer also received a honourable mention for the best report on the company’s operations.

We are even more happy considering that promoting the highest standards in communication and diligent fulfilment of our reporting duties is one of our priorities on the NewConnect market” says Małgorzata Konys, Financial Director and Member of the Management Board of LUG S.A.
The decision to expand the scope of the competition to include companies from the NewConnect market was very positively evaluated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange which became the project’s strategic partner. According to Mr Mirosław Szczepański, Member of the Management Board of the WSE, who was a speaker at the gala, such initiatives encourage transparency and promote reliable communication among Issuers from the NewConnect and are, therefore, consistent with the strategy pursued by the Stock Exchange.
