Good Design

The Institute of Industrial Design (IWP) for the 18th time distinguished with the Good Design title good designed and novel products that positively stimulate the condition of Polish design, are valuable, innovative and set new directions.

The Good Design is a competition for the best designed products and services on the Polish market. In this year’s edition of Good Design, from a record number of 172 submitted products and services, IWP experts have selected 81 finalists in four areas: Home, Working environment, Services and Public Space. All the products and services were subjected to twostage design evaluation: by the IWP expert team and afterwards by the international jury. Featured producers and designers are seen as creators of new design trends and their products and services are well designed, aesthetically pleasing and structurally modern solutions.

We are pleased to announce that the LUG product – PROXIMA projector - was distinguished as a GOOD DESIGN 2011 competition finalist and will be presented on the post-competition exhibition held at the IWP premisses and in a dedicated catalogue. It is a prestigious award which confirms the highest level of design and the growing prestige of our lighting solutions both for LUG company as well as for the three designers of the projector PROXIMA.
