Lubuskie Leader of Business - 1st place for LUG!

During the 9th Gala of Lubuskie Business Leader results of a competition had been announced. The Contest was organized by the West Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the strategic partner "Gazeta Lubuska". The first place in the category of big companies received LUG Light Factory from Zielona Góra. During the solemn Gala, Ryszard Wtorkowski, the President of LUG received the award.
As in every year the choice was very difficult, 71 enterprises from the whole voivodship participated in the competition. The final laureates were selected from 69 companies. One of the companies did not undergo a preliminary verification, while the other did not participate after the initial results were announced.
In the category of micro-companies winners were selected from 18 candidates, 21 took part in the small companies category. In the category of medium-sized companies - 18 candidates, 12 companies competed among the biggest leaders. All participants were honored according to the same criteria, ranging from solvency, to honesty, development and approach to employees.
In the big enterprises category have won:
- I place: LUG Light Factory from Zielona Góra,
- II place ex equo - ICT Poland Sp. z o.o. from Kostrzyn Nad Odrą and SECO/WARWICK S.A. from Świebodzin,
- III place ex equo - LEKS Sp. z o.o. from Sulęcin and Borne Furniture sp. z o.o. from Gorzów.
- Success is mainly work, in our case it has been 28 years on the Polish market. Now we are entering other countries, we are buildin a factory in Argentina - enumerates Ryszard Wtorkowski, the President of LUG Light Factory, the winner in the big enterprises category. - Success is primarily a great team of great people. Such a reward is always a big surprise, the competition was really strong.
