28 November 2011

The word “crisis” is inflected by the media in all possible cases. As citizens, customers, employees and employers, we all wonder, what it actually means for us.

Entrepreneurs associated in the Lubusian Business Centre Club Lodge had a unique opportunity to ask those and other questions to the distinguished economist – Prof. Stanisław Gomułka, who on Friday, the 25th of November was a special guest of the Chancellor of the BCC Lodge, Ryszard Wtorkowski.

The meeting at the LUG company office took place with the headline: “Perspectives of the Polish economy and financial markets until the year 2020 in the context of the second wave of the crisis and union funds in the years 2014-20”.

Ryszard Wtorkowski introduced the guests to the subject of the crisis and directed questions which bother representatives of Lubusian companies towards Prof. Gomułka. The business owners listened with great interest to their great guest’s lecture on the origin of the crisis and its subsequent symptoms, which was later followed by a series of questions.

Prof. Gomułka’s statement that entrepreneurs with a good development strategy for their businesses should not fear the crisis, but focus their actions on realizing those strategies was an optimistic summary of the meeting. At the end of the meeting Prof. Gomułka gave his autograph on books written by him.
