The energetic cluster has its elected authorities

The “Lubusz Renewable Energy and Energetic Efficiency Cluster” founders’ meeting brought about new resolutions. On the 25th of January at the LUG Light Factory company seat, where the meeting took place, the founders voted on electing the cluster’s authorities and incorporating supporting members. The participants also summarized the previous works on the cluster’s development strategy.
Lubusz entrepreneurs, representatives of the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Sulechów and the Regional Development Agency are carrying out further phases of the cluster’s appointment process, so that it can commence active operation in favor of increased energetic innovation in our region.
During the most recent – fourth meeting, which took place on the 25th of January 2012 in the seat of one of the Founding Member’s companies – LUG Light Factory Ltd. – participants confirmed the information regarding registering on the 30.12.2011 of an Association which will coordinate the cluster. As a result, the meeting also included elections of the Association’s authorities. The Management will include: Henryk Mazurkiewicz as the President and Prof. Marian Miłek and Marek Chromik as Vice-Presidents. Participants also appointed members of the Review Commission: Dr. Izabela Wojewoda (Chair of the Commission) and Mariusz Ejsmont and Zbigniew Paruszewski.
On the basis of submitted joining declarations, the Management Board passed a resolution to include Supporting Members of the Association, which will be the following institutions and companies: the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Sulechów, the Regional Development Agency S.A., LUG Light Factory Ltd., Mazel General Partnership, UESA Polska Ltd., Lumel S.A., Polhaus, Kaczmarek Electric S.A.
The meeting at the LUG company seat was also an occasion to summarize the work of a task group, which was appointed in order to devise the Lubusz Renewable Energy and Energetic Efficiency Cluster’s development strategy. The most important areas of the cluster’s operation included the promulgation of knowledge on renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in using educational and promotional tools. One of the cluster members’ initiatives will also be the support of works on the Lubusz Voivodeship Energetic Development Strategy which is currently being drawn up and will be a document regulating the region’s energetic sector development.
The meeting’s participants included the Founding Members of the LREaEE Cluster: Wiesław Miczulski – rector of the SHSoVE in Sulechów, Prof. Marian Miłek - SHSoVE in Sulechów, Izabela Wojewoda – vice-president of development at the SHSoVE in Sulechów, Radosław Grech –CEO of SHSoVE in Sulechów, Hanna Nowicka – Management Board Chair at the Regional Development Agency S.A., Michał Rzepecki – Regional Development Agency S.A. and representatives of Lubusz companies: Mazel, LUG Light Factory, UESA Polska, Lumel, Polhaus, Kaczmarek Electric. The meeting was hosted by Mariusz Ejsmont, Member of the LUG Light Factory Management Board.
