In participation with science

The LUG company consistently broadens platform of cooperation and partnership with world of science. This time is establishing cooperation with Technical University in Poznań (‘Politechnika Poznańska’) through participation in the project ‘Engineer’s Era’. Build up of developmental potential of Technical Univeristy in Poznań’ which promotes the idea: ‘Spread the wings of your career!’

The main assumption is adjustment of high education to the requirements of the economy and dynamic labour market as well as improvement of Poznań Technical University’s educational quality. The undertaking assumes active participation of business world representatives in order to efficiently create actual capacities of future engineers. Project last four years and is co-founded from European Social Found resources within ‘Operational Program Human Capital’.

Project’s beneficiaries – last year students reading: mechanical engineering and management, electric, technical physics as well as computer science and management will have three months of paid work experience or internship in the headquarter of the LUG company. They will develop their competencies and learn practically in individual supervisors’ care. However, earlier they will have to pass recruitment process that consists of few steps: analysis of complicated questions, interviews and basic practical exercises. Thanks to this it is possible to select students with great development potential.

The ‘Engineer’s Era’ program realises personal politics of the LUG S.A. Capital Group, for which active cooperation with educational institutes is fundamental. The corporation recruits employees among graduates with high education diplomas who have not only competencies but also are open-minded, creative and dynamic. Moreover it allows to develop their competencies in practical way during work experiences or internships. Human Resource Department cooperate with voivodeship and poviats’ carrier offices as well as carrier offices of ‘Warmińsko-Mazurski’ Univeristy, Technical University in Poznań and Zielona Góra Univeristy as well and allows young people to begin their carrier throughout internships.
