WE ARE NOT SLOWING DOWN DESPITE THE CORONAVIRUS

The current situation resulting from the rapid progress of the outbreak of the 2019-nCoV (COVID-19) virus, commonly referred to as the coronavirus, is requiring us to take decisive action and implement solutions aimed at ensuring the highest level of safety and maintaining the smooth operation of our company.

Thanks to the steps we have taken, we can ensure that our joint projects can be carried out at the highest level in terms of the products and services we offer, while taking care of the health and safety of our entire team and those who work directly with us.

Therefore, we would like to inform you that:

• We are constantly making every effort to maintain the continuity of our production processes, and to implement them according to the assumed plan. We are ready to accept further orders and production within agreed deadlines.
• We are carrying out deliveries on an ongoing basis. To this end, we have introduced additional protective measures for all the members of our team, as well as for those working with us from outside the company.
• We have implemented procedures that allow us to maintain the supply chain, and by optimising the work of the production staff and reducing staff density we can guarantee production continuity and safety on the line. The vast majority of our administrative team is working remotely. The implementation of home-office work is aimed at reducing exposure and increasing the safety of our employees.
• We have limited business trips and direct meetings with our partners. Despite this, we are happy to use available online tools. We are, therefore, at your disposal at all times and we invite you to participate in meetings in the form of video conferences.
• We are also working on a series of WEBINARS, which will keep you up to date with the latest developments in our company. We will inform you about their subject matter and detailed scheduling in separate messages.

In addition, since February this year, we have been conducting a number of preventive actions in our company to ensure the health of both our team and all the people from the immediate environment of our organisation. To this end, we have introduced numerous safety measures in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, such as:

• placing more than 60 dispensers with hand sanitiser in our plants and regional offices;
• introducing a special schedule of breaks for production workers in connection with the recommendation of regular hand disinfection;
• conducting periodic body temperature measurements;
• we have introduced the obligation to use protective masks for all employees working in LUG locations and the obligation to wear gloves for employees who have direct contact with people outside our organization on a daily basis;
• limiting internal meetings;
• providing numerous directives and instructions so that our team knows how to deal with the risk of direct infection with the 2019-nCoV virus (COVID-19);
• establishing special rules of cooperation with courier companies and rules for internal transport.

We are constantly monitoring the development of the situation which we find ourselves in and following the guidelines of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and national authorities. We can assure you that we are continuing to work on carrying out our activities as effectively as possible and providing you with professional lighting solutions at the highest level.
