LUG Light Factory begun the II edition of the Lean Tour

On April 13, 2018, the representatives of twelve leading companies from the Lubuskie Province in Zielona Góra met in the framework of the second edition of the Lean Tour. The aim of the initiative is to exchange knowledge and experience of successful entities on the international arena, and which links the place of business. The host of the first cycle of this year's meetings was LUG Light Factory from Zielona Góra.

 The Lean Tour initiative included new companies from the Lubuskie Voivodeship. This is the second edition of meetings of large enterprises, organized by the Gorzowski Technological Center and the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The first meeting was organized in December 2016. The idea of ​​the meetings is to learn together and exchange experiences on management models, processes and organizational cultures prevailing in individual companies. During subsequent meetings, the companies invited to participate in the program presented their plants, talked about their organizational models, implemented processes and successes and problems they encountered during their operations. The value of meetings is the exchange of know-how of companies from various industries.

 - "EU projects focus on supporting primarily the sector of small and medium enterprises. The foundation of the development of the Lubuskie Voivodeship are large enterprises, which in these initiatives are sometimes overlooked. As the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce, we were looking for opportunities to support just large entities. We wanted to create a platform where large entities can get to know each other, exchange experiences and share knowledge. "- Stanisław Owczarek, Director of the Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry, talks about the genesis of the Lean Tour.

 During the first edition, throughout the year, large companies from the north of the region visited each other, presenting their organizations, applied management methods and ways to improve them. It will be similar this year. Once a month, the company management teams will exchange their experience in running the business.

 - "This is the second edition of the Lean Tour in which we participate. We appreciate very much the experience we have collected in the edition dedicated to companies from the north of the province. We could not always transfer solutions directly to our business, but many times the experience of other companies was a development impulse. A reason for reflection that resulted in the implementation of our own Lean solutions "- explains Michał Wrembel, the President of ICT Poland Sp. z o.o.

The host of the inaugural 2nd edition of the meeting was LUG Light Factory Sp. z o.o. from Zielona Góra. The company has been successful in Poland and on the international arena. This is confirmed by the title of the Lubuski Business Leader.
