LUG’s foreign conquests

29 November 2012

LUG uses its experience in carrying out big and prestigious lighting projects and doesn’t waste even a moment. The strategy of internationalization, emphasized for over 2 years, produces expected outcomes, and the Executive Board of LUG is actively involved in projects supporting sales and creating the image of the company abroad.

The whole lighting industry is sending less than positive signals and the Polish producers of lighting record worsening results in terms of income and profit even by over 90%. LUG is resisting these tendencies and successfully expands its operations abroad. The share of export of professional luminaires from LUG brand in the sales income structure grows rapidly.

- We are bravely penetrating the foreign markets and actively seeking contracts, thus we are expanding our cooperation with current and begin cooperation with new partners. Currently we are aiming the Brazilian market in particular. The Russian market is also very promising – comments Ryszard Wtorkowski, the CEO

LUG closely cooperates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which strongly supports the expansion of Polish companies to markets of South America. Representatives of LUG were members of the economic mission to Brazil accompanying the official visit of Radosław Sikorski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, organized in November this year.

LUG will also be among the Polish companies which will participate in the official visit to Russia, as a part of sharing the Polish experience of organizing EURO 2012 with Russian regions where the 2018 world cup will take place.
