On 3rd August, 2009 changes in the Codex of Trade Companies entered the force. These changes are result of adjustment of polish law to the resolutions of ‘Directive 2007/35/WE of European Parliament and Executive Board on 11 July, 2007 in respect to practices of some laws of listed companies’ shareholders on regulated market (Dz. Urz. UE l 184/17 dated on 14.07.2007).’ Pointed changes mainly relate to shareholders’ laws especially the way in which public companies calling the general meetings. According to the new regulations Issuer announces about meeting through information on website as well as through publication of current reports in EBI system.
