LUG as a double laureate

Autumn is a very intense business season, which also abounds in the results of competitions and plebiscites. On October 13, the LUG Group received two awards: the Economic Award of the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the main award "The Best Annual Report 2021" in the category of NewConnect companies.

During the ceremonial Gala of the Economic Congress - Lubuskie 2021 at the Lubuskie Theater in Zielona Góra, Jakub Wtorkowski, Director of Strategic Finance and Risk, received the Award of the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship for the LUG Group in the "innovative large enterprises" category for the second place. The award honors over 32 years of LUG's activity in its home region, where the company is constantly developing, respecting the needs of the local community.

On the same day, during a gala at the headquarters of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the LUG Group for the seventh time received the Main Award of the "The Best Annual Report" competition in the category of NewConnect companies. The event organized by the Institute of Accounting and Taxes for the 17th time aims to highlight the best prepared annual reports, which are a reliable source of information about the company for shareholders and investors. The statuette was collected by Monika Bartoszak, Director of the LUG Management and Communication Office, during a gala at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

- Once again, with satisfaction and appreciation, I congratulate our team, which is the author of this double success. The awards we have received today confirm that we are right and motivate us to develop further. The repeatability of the received awards clearly shows that the success in both cases is not the result of a single effort, but the long-term effect of the consistent work of LUG experts. The October successes were preceded by two other, September awards: the title of Lubuskie Leader of Innovation for the LUG Group and the Bronze Cross of Merit for Ryszard Wtorkowski, President of the LUG Management Board.

The title of Lubuski Leader of Innovation is a distinction for the most innovative enterprises of the Lubuskie Province. The organizer of the event was the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce. On the other hand, the award of the Cross of Merit, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, was made by the Voivode of Lubuskie in recognition of Ryszard Wtorkowski's merits for the economic development of the region and the country.
